Compact Disc
The CreditExcel program should start automatically after you place the CreditExcel CD in your computer's disc drive. If it does not, simply follow these steps.
Option 1: After putting the CD in your computer, go to "My Computer", locate your CD drive, and double-click on the CD drive icon. This should launch the application. If this fails to open the application but instead opens a folder, double-click on the icon labeled "creditexcel-pc.exe"
Option 2: After putting the CD in your computer, go to Start -> Run and type in D:\creditexcel-pc.exe where 'D' is the letter of your CD drive.
After putting the CD in your computer, locate the CD drive icon on your desktop. Double-click on the icon to launch the application. If this fails to open the application but instead opens a folder, double-click on the icon labeled "creditexcel-Mac"
Because the Credit Improvement Kit is an interactive tool with text, video, and Web based applications, you will need a computer to use the Kit.
Internet Connection
Yes, your computer will need to be online for you to activate your copy of the Credit Improvement Kit and to use features such as the Letter Creator.
A broadband connection will work, but is not required to access the components of the Credit Improvement Kit. A basic dial-up connection is all you will need to access the kit, view videos, and use the Letter Creator.
Access Key
An access key is required to access the information, tools, and resources of the CreditExcel Kit. Your access is sent to you by email when you order your kit and is also included on the address label of the packaging your kit arrives in.
First, search all email folders (including junk mail) for an email from CreditExcel that was sent the day you ordered your Kit. Your access key was also included on the address label of the packaging your kit arrived in. If you are still unable to locate your access key, please click here to receive a new key.

Ebook Download (PDF)
You can download the CreditExcel Ebook by clicking the Learn how to Improve Credit option from the main menu of the Credit Improvement Kit and then clicking the Improving Your Credit button at the bottom of the window.
The CreditExcel Ebook is provided in PDF format to make it easier for you to read, print, and save. In order to open the Ebook, you will need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer. If you do not have this software, you can download it free at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
Letter Creator Application
Absolutely. Any information you enter into the CreditExcel Letter Creator is protected using 256-bit encryption protocols designed to protect your personal information from being accessible to anyone else.
In our experience, the most successful dispute letters are those that are sent via traditional mail. For this reason, the Letter Creator will generate printable letters you can sign and then send directly to the credit bureaus.
